In an attempt to clean out the pantry, I ended up with this delicious goulash-style recipe. Mix up the veggies to make your own “kitchen sink” version.
1. In a large pan, brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Simmer 20-30 minutes.
You could also put the macaroni in uncooked and let it cook in the juices. But you may need to add additional liquid to keep the goulash from getting too dry.
