Description

There is nothing like a good pot roast. What makes it better is how easy this one is.

Ingredients

  • Salt And Pepper
  • 4 pounds Pot Roast
  • 1 jar (12 Oz. Jar) Heinz Chili Sauce
  • 1 bottle (12 Oz. Size) Guinness Beer
  • 1 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 2 cups Carrots, Cubed
  • 4 whole Potatoes, Cubed

Preparation

Salt and pepper the roast then place it in a pot or crock pot. Pour in chili sauce and beer.

If using a crockpot, add vegetables, cook on low for 4-5 hours.

If using the oven, cook at 250ºF, then add vegetables after 2 hours. Cook for another 2-3 hours.

My stepmom gave me this recipe. It is easy and delicious!

Love it. I halved the recipe as I live alone and cooked in a slow cooker. The beer really made it delicious.
