Freezer ready, baked Italian Meatballs that have a golden top, moist middle and are full of Italian seasoning. Perfect for pasta, meatball subs, appetizers or on pizza!
Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cheese, egg, onion, basil, parsley, garlic powder, salt, red pepper flakes, and 1/4 cup of the bread crumbs. Using your hands, mix all ingredients until well combined.
In a shallow dish, add remaining 1/4 cup of the bread crumbs.
Using a food scale, weigh meatball mixture to 1 1/2-ounce portions, about the size of a golf ball. Roll into a ball and then roll in the bread crumbs. Place each meatball into a mini muffin pan tin.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Let them cool. Use immediately or freeze for future use.
