This steak is not only delicious, but sweet and juicy, due to this special marinade of soy sauce and sugar!
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce and sugar. Place steak in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Pour marinade over top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Remove steak from pan, reserving marinade for basting. Grill steak to desired temperature, basting a few times early on.
Note: Don’t baste the steaks with the marinade once they are close to being done, as you don’t want to spread the marinade that raw meat was sitting in if you can’t cook it further.
Let meat rest 5–10 minutes before cutting.
