This was the best marinade that I have ever tasted! A perfect dinner for summer grilling!
The night before (or at least 5 hours before), mix together marinade ingredients.
Cube steak and chicken. Place in two separate bags. Divide the marinade into the two separate bags.
Turn on the grill.
Chop veggies (except tomatoes) into large chunks. Place veggies in the marinade with the meat for about 10 minutes.
Make chicken skewers with bell peppers and onion. Place on the grill. (These need to cook longer than the steak, about 25 minutes.)
Make steak skewers with zucchini and tomatoes. Place on the grill for about 12 minutes.
Save the marinade and halfway through the cooking process, turn the kabobs and brush with the marinade.
Remove from the grill and serve on the skewers, or remove and serve on a plate!
