My homemade version of a Taco Bell favorite!
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until nicely browned. While the beef is browning, heat up the refried beans according to the directions on the can.
Once the meat is browned add in the taco seasoning and flour. Stir and cook for a minute or two. Add in the water and continue to heat and stir until it’s thickened. Remove pan from heat.
Wrap the flour tortillas in a slightly damp paper towel and heat in microwave for a minute. Then smear a little of the re-fried beans onto each tortilla and set them on your work surface.
Spoon the taco meat into each of the crispy taco shells. Place each corn (meat-filled) taco into the center of a bean-smeared flour tortilla and wrap. The beans acting as the glue to keep the taco and flour tortilla together.
Top with lettuce, cheese tomatoes or any of your favorite toppings and enjoy!
