Creamy meatballs baked in a deliciously easy gravy!
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Combine ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup sour cream, salt, pepper and allspice in a mixing bowl. Mix well with your hands. Shape into small meatballs.
Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add meatballs, one layer at a time, and brown well on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
Turn meatballs into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Combine remaining sour cream with cream of chicken soup. Mix well and pour over meatballs. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 minutes longer.
Serve meatballs and gravy over mashed potatoes, cooked rice or egg noodles.
