This is a yummy throw-together recipe that a friend of mine created. I was hesitant to make it, but it turned out to be an excellent addition to the cookbook.
Boil egg noodles.
After slicing onions, heat some olive oil in a deep skillet and carmelize the onions. Remove onions from skillet.
Add gravy to the skillet, bring to a boil. Add cream cheese, stirring until thoroughly combined. Add meatballs and return onions to the mixture. Cook, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are done.
Serve over egg noodles, with French bread or biscuits if you desire.
You can also use any other kind of pasta, or rice or potatoes to serve this over.
