This is a delicious tender brisket that is great with mashed potatoes! A family favorite.
Sprinkle brisket with pepper and wrap in heavy duty foil, leaving an opening at the top. Place in a baking dish. In a bowl, mix water, soup, gravy, garlic and Italian dressing together. Pour the mixture on top of the brisket and sprinkle with mushrooms. Seal the foil.
Bake at 300 degrees for 5 to 8 hours or until very tender.
