Simple version of beef and broccoli.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok or large skillet until just hot. Add beef and cook until done.
While beef is cooking whisk together water, garlic, soy sauce, and cornstarch. It should cloudy and mixed together, but you don’t want it to be thick until it starts to cook.
When beef is cooked through add the liquid mixture, onions, and broccoli. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until liquid has thickened and the broccoli is cooked through.
Serve over rice.
