This is a dish that’s all about the sauce. Delicious, balsamic glaze-y goodness that is equally savory and sweet.
1. Season the flank steak with salt, pepper and steak seasoning. Set aside.
2. For the glaze, in a small pot over low heat, whisk the butter, finely chopped onion, balsamic, light brown sugar and beef broth.
3. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring often until reduced to 1/4 cup. Meanwhile, either grill the flank steak to your liking or cook it on the stove (using cooking spray on the pan first).
4. Slice the steak into 1/4 inch pieces. Drizzle the balsamic sauce on top and serve immediately.
