I make these almost every time we BBQ. There are all sorts of variations, but this is one I make the most. I have also made a simple meal out of them. This will make a lot of beans, so if you find you have too much, freeze the remainder for another day!
In a large cast iron skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until almost crisp. Add chopped onion and bell peppers. Stir occasionally until onion is transparent and peppers are no longer crisp. Add both cans of baked beans, BBQ sauces, and light brown sugar. Stir to combine.
In a separate skillet, brown meat. Season with seasoned salt. When done, add to the beans and allow to come to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes.
