Description

Flank steak marinated and grilled then served over Rice Noodles. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Flank Steak
  • 1 pound Rice Noodles/sticks
  • 1 bunch Green Onion
  • _____
  • FOR MARINADE
  • ⅓ cups Soy Sauce
  • 5 Tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 4 Tablespoons Hoisin Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey
  • ½ teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper (or More If You Like A Kick)

Preparation

1. Trim excess fat off of the steak. Lay the steak flat in a casserole dish large enough to fit the steak.

2. Whisk together all marinade ingredients. Pour 2/3 of the marinade over the steak; reserve remaining marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.

3. To prepare the noodles: Follow package directions. As noodles are cooking, heat the reserved marinade in a small sauce pan over low heat.

4. To prepare the steak: Drain marinade from the casserole dish. Grill the flank steak about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it has reached desired doneness. This can be done on an outdoor grill or an indoor grill pan/skillet.

5. Slice the steak thinly and serve over the rice sticks. Top with green onions and reserved marinade (optional).
