Description

Brownies made with Mother Nature’s butter!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Pureed Avocado
  • ⅔ cups White Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • ⅓ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ⅓ cups High Quality Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (omit For Regular Brownies)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Beat together avocado puree, sugar, vanilla, and eggs.

In a separate bowl, mix remaining dry ingredients. Beat dry ingredients into wet.

Pour batter into a round 9″ cake pan prepared with baking spray (you may also use an 8×8″ square pan). Bake for about 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.

Cut into 8 (or 9 if using a square pan) even slices and serve!

I have a disease where I can’t eat butter or oil so I have been missing brownies. These were amazing! Of course, they aren’t like regular brownies but if you want a healthy treat, I’d suggest these! They are very dark chocolate-y and would be delicious with chocolate chips or nuts, if you can add them!
