Some of the easiest cookies ever. No baking at all!
Boil the milk, sugar, butter, and cocoa in a saucepan for about 2 minutes, or until a bit of the mixture adheres fairly quickly on the bottom of a spoon. Remove from heat, and mix in the remaining ingredients.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto wax paper on a cookie sheet. Chill in the fridge for accelerated hardening. Enjoy!

Made these tonight and my kids loved them. Thanks for adding this recipe! My mom used to make these when I was growing up.

Wow, I had forgotten about these. My brother made these cookies for us during one summer break when we were kids.

Ooooh, thanks for reminding me these existed! It’s been ages since I’ve made these and they’ll be perfect for this afternoon…not much time and too warm to turn on the oven (but craving chocolate!).
We’ve made these for as long as I can remember and switched them up many times…stovetop/microwave…added things such as chopped nuts, raisins, etc. (they taste like Chunky bars that way)…they’re pretty much fail-proof and flexible.
Hehee…they don’t seem as “un-healthy” with the oatmeal added in especially if you use raw sugar and natural peanut butter…
TFS!
