Description

These monster cookies are studded with m&ms, mini chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. They stay soft for days—if they last that long!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Butter
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups White Sugar
  • ¾ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1-¼ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ cups Quick Cooking Oats
  • ¾ cups Mini M&Ms
  • ¼ cups Mini Chocolate Chips
  • ¼ cups Peanut Butter Chips

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350ºF.

Start by combining the butter, brown and white sugars in a large bowl using a hand/stand mixer or your own brute strength. Add the peanut butter, stir again. Add the egg and stir. Add vanilla and stir.

Measure in the baking soda and flour and stir just until combined. Stir in the oats, m&ms, chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.

Scoop using a cookie scoop or 2 teaspoons measuring about 2 tablespoons onto a cookie sheet lined with a Silpat mat or sprayed with cooking spray (just in case). Press down gently as they do not spread on their own.

Bake for 9-10 minutes but no longer. You want these to stay soft. Remove from the oven and let cool on the cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes then move to a cooling rack.

Enjoy with a big glass of milk!

I’ll be honest, the reviews had me a bit worried to try this recipe. I’m glad I tried it for myself. I made this with my 4 year old son, and it was so easy and so much fun! The batter was not dry or crumbly at all. I baked them for exactly 9-10 minutes and they came out perfectly fine. They haven’t crumbled at all. As long as you follow the recipe, you’ll be fine. I printed thus recipe and put it in my recipe binder, so I always have it on hand from now on. Thank you for sharing this!

Taste great, but something is off in the recipe. 2T of dough isn’t baked at 10 minutes. Mine were undercooked and completely fell apart.

Love theses cookies! First time I made them, I did over bake by a few minutes and they were a little dry, but second time, they turned out perfect. They didn’t last long!

These were too dry. I used my standing mixer, but did not over-stir. The dough was crumbly and the cookies did not spread—as stated in the recipe. Not a huge success here.
