Description

Remember those light and fluffy cookies that melted in your mouth with a great cinnamon sugar flavor? You have found them at last!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE COOKIES:
  • ½ cups Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1-¾ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1-½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • FOR THE COATING:
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 F. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add egg and vanilla and beat well until combined. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Mix well. The dough is going to be thick so you may want to use your hands (get in there)! Mix in the milk. If dough is crumbly, add additional milk 1 tablespoon at a time until it comes together. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 375 F. In a bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the coating. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls. Flatten them a little bit and roll in the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Put them onto a parchment paper lined or greased baking sheet, leaving an inch or two between each. Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes.
