Description

Lemon Oreo Thins with a layer of hot pink chocolate in the center topped with vanilla flavored drizzle and colorful springtime sprinkles!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 Oz. Size) Lemon Oreo Thins
  • 1 package (10 Oz. Size) Ghirardelli White Melting Wafers
  • 6 drops Hot Pink Food Coloring, Or As Needed For Desired Color
  • 1 teaspoon Strawberry Extract (or Vanilla)
  • 1 bag (12 Oz. Size) Yellow Candy Melts
  • ¾ cups Decorative Sprinkles

Preparation

Remove Oreo Thins from package and lay them out on a cookie sheet.

Microwave melts according to the package directions. Once melted, stir in hot pink food coloring. You can use more or less depending on the color. Add strawberry extract and stir until thickened. The chocolate will not be liquid anymore after these 2 steps and that’s okay. There are colorings to keep chocolate in temper, but we want it to be thick to hold the Oreos together.

Using a piping bag with a very large hole cut, spread about 1/2 tablespoon of chocolate onto each cookie. You can also use a knife if you don’t have a piping bag. Place another cookie on top of each frosted cookie and press down so that the chocolate comes to the edges.

After you have made your stackers, melt yellow candy melts according to package directions. Pour into another piping bag or a baggie with a small hole cut.

Drizzle stackers with yellow vanilla coating and then top with sprinkles. Once chocolate is set, they are ready to eat!
