Description

These are the best no-bake cookies. I made them for a baby shower over the weekend.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • ¼ cups Cocoa (optional)
  • ¼ cups Butter
  • ½ cups Milk
  • 2-½ cups Oats, Regular Uncooked
  • 1 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk in a heavy saucepan. Stir well. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil; boil for 1 minute. Stir in peanut butter, oats, and vanilla. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased waxed paper.

Cool thoroughly. Yields about 4 dozen cookies.

These are very quick and easy. Oh, I forgot to mention delicious, too! I made them without the optional cocoa for a nice change. Thanks for sharing!
