A candy drop cookie made with oats, cocoa, and peanut butter. This recipe was my grandmother’s, and a staple in my house growing up. They never seemed to last more than a day or two.
In a large sauce pan, bring margarine, cocoa, sugar, and milk to a hard boil. Boil for one and a half minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add oats, peanut butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
Immediately drop onto waxed paper using teaspoons, as it will begin to set within a few minutes. Let cool.

These are great! I just made them this evening. They took almost no time, and they taste wonderful. Classic no-bakes.
