Description

A giant, medium rare chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream and eaten with a spoon. It’s baked in and eaten out of a deep dish. It’s everything a cookie wants to be and more.

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces, weight Store Bought Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • 3 whole Scoops Of Good Quality Vanilla Ice Cream

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 475 F. If you are a little scared to set your oven temperature to this high of a temperature, 450 F works as well. You will just have to bake the cookie for a couple extra minutes.

Spray a 9-inch round baking dish or pan with cooking spray. I use a pie dish, but a cheesecake or cake pan work as well.

Empty the cookie dough into the pan and press the cookie dough into an even layer.

Bake the cookie for 15-20 minutes until it’s golden brown. Be careful not to cook it too long. It tastes better a little more on the doughy-side rather than crispy. When done remove from oven and set dish on a rack.

As soon as the cookie comes out of the oven, plop 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla is my favorite.

Take a spoon, dig in and enjoy!
