These are the oatmeal cookies that my Nana has been making for as long as I can remember. In fact in her old recipe book there is a note that “Amanda loves these” with little hearts. To this day she makes them if I am coming over
As always, these are nut-free!
Cream shortening & sugars.
Beat in Egg.
Mix remaining dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Add dry mix to creamed.
Roll into balls and flatten with a fork.
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
