Description

Double chocolate cookies with peanut butter morsels.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, Softened
  • 1-½ cup Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ cups Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Chips
  • ½ cups Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt and mix until combined.

Fold in peanut butter and chocolate chips. Refrigerate dough for 1-2 hours. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350F, roll into balls and set on a baking sheet.

Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes.

Oh my gosh.

These are delicious! I actually just baked the first batch and they are heavenly. I prepared the dough late last night and left it in the fridge because I had to work in the morning/afternoon today. I will definitely keep this recipe.

I looooove the peanut butter. It’s a perfect balance with the chocolaty goodness. Mmmm…

This was exactly what I was looking for: a think, fudgy chocolate cookie with some peanut butter. Delicious! I used Reese’s Pieces instead of the peanut butter chips because that was what I had on hand. But I think these cookies would be good even without the peanut butter; the chocolate cookie dough alone is fantastic.
