Description

I find the holidays are not complete without these chunky chocolate chip cookies that are packed with M&M’s. These cookies are the perfect texture, crunchy on the edges, a slight soft middle and BIG chunks of chocolate!!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1-¼ cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1-⅔ cup Toll House Dark Chocolate Chips
  • ½ cups Chocolate M&Ms

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375F.

In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.

In a separate bowl add flours, salt and baking soda. Gradually add the flour mixture into the sugar mixture and beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and M&M’s.

Drop by well rounded spoonfuls (I used an ice cream scoop) onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 – 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Now eat a nice warm cookie out of the oven and don’t share the rest! Just kidding!

Makes 50 decent sized cookies. I didn’t go small on these. One heaping ice cream scoop per cookie!
