Description

Cake box cookies are so great for a last-minute snack. These are the best! I got the recipe from a cookie exchange this Christmas 2009.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (18.25 Oz. Box) Cake Mix
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 whole Large Egg
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Set oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients, except powdered sugar. Roll a spoonful of dough in powdered sugar. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for about 8 minutes.

I love these in lemon and strawberry, and of course … chocolate!

Try them, you’ll be glad.

Oh and I added about 1 tablespoon more of cool whip and that’s all it needed

This is the worst recipe I have ever made! It made a giant mess of my kitchen aid AND my kitchen! I added more cool whip as others tried, as the mix was not fully enveloped and the dough turned out a gooie gross mess – more like frosting than cookie dough. Never again!

And I forgot to mention as my husband is diabetic i made these with sugar free cool whip and a sugar free cake mix. He said they are really good hot. Now we will have to wait and see how they taste cold. He could not wait!

I just got my first batch out of the oven. Even though I had to use more cool whip than called for they turned out good.

These are FANTASTIC! I’ve made them in chocolate, golden vanilla, lemon, caramel, pink lemonade and red velvet. So far the pink lemonade and red velvet are our favorites! Thank you for such an easy and delicious recipe:)

I made these and they are very good. I used white mix and orange flavoring. Can’t wait to try the German Chocolate.
