Description

This fudge from A Cozy Kitchen takes less than 30 minutes to make and is absolute heaven!

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces, fluid Sweetened, Condensed Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pound Bittersweet Or Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Cut Into Pieces

Preparation

Butter the bottom and sides of an 8 by 8-inch baking pan. Line the pan with a sheet of parchment paper, allowing a couple inches of parchment paper to hang over the sides.

In a medium glass or stainless steel bowl, combine the condensed milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir in the chocolate chips and butter. Put the bowl on top of a saucepan of barely simmering water and stir until the chocolate chips have melted and the mixture is smooth, about 6-8 minutes. (You can also add nuts at this point if you like them). Using a spatula, scrape the mixture into the buttered pan and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.

Holding the edges of the parchment paper that are hung over the pan, lift the fudge out of the pan and onto a cutting board. Peel off the parchment paper and cut the fudge into 1-inch pieces. Store refrigerated in an airtight container or freeze. That is . . . if you don’t eat all of it while standing in the kitchen.

Thank you for this recipe!
We loved it. Cinnamon is heart healthy so I am always looking for new ways to add it to our food.
And everyone knows fudge is it’s own food group!

Made this for my father-in-laws birthday. It was a big hit, everyone loved it. I used about half semi-sweet and half bittersweet. It was the best fudge I have ever made. I will be adding this to my list of goodies that I give as gifts!

Just made this for a bake sale–it’s fantastic! I used 2.5 cups semisweet chips, but I think next time I’ll try bittersweet; I’m a huge dark chocolate fan, but I only had semisweet chips on hand this time. I highly recommend this recipe!

Super easy, very tasty–and a pantry recipe to boot! Cinnamon adds a nice but subtle complexity. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Best fudge, hands down! I used a small round cookie cutter to cut it out and melted white chocolate chips to create a design on the top with a red hot in the center. They look and taste divine!

Absolutely the best fudge I’ve ever made. I will use this recipe again and again. I made it as a gift for my father in law’s birthday & it was a huge hit! It was really easy too!
