Description

This is my sister Susie’s recipe. She got it from one of the elementary schools. The recipe was huge, so she made a few changes and came up with this yummy recipe.

It’s by far one of the BEST chocolate chip cookie recipes on the planet. At least we think so.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Butter, Softened
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 3 whole Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 5 cups All Purpose Flour, Sifted
  • 5 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 package (12 Oz. Package) Milk Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Combine butter and sugars until well blended. Stir in eggs one at a time and then add vanilla. Stir until smooth.

In another bowl sift all dry ingredients and slowly add to the sugar mixture until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by the tablespoon full onto your cookie sheets or a baking stone and cook at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. If you aren’t using a baking stone, you can spray the cookie sheet with a little cooking spray.

Cookies are done when they are light brown. Let stand for 1 minute and transfer to wire rack to cool.

Store in an airtight container.
