I love baking from scratch, sometimes the more ingredients the better. Other times not so much. This cookie bar recipe uses a cake mix to cut the prep time and turns out like you slaved in the kitchen! It’s moist and chewy and hard to resist.
Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the water and egg. Stir in cake mix and blend well. Stir in the raisins.
Spread into a greased 9”x13” baking pan. Bake at 350ºF for 25-30 minutes.
Let cool completely before cutting.
