Description

Warning! These cookies are dangerous! I dare you to make these and try to eat fewer than 3 in one sitting. There’s just something about that amaretto/almond flavor combination that is irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 2-½ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Amaretto
  • 2 teaspoons Almond Extract
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Coconut Flakes
  • 1 cup Sliced Almonds

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a separate mixing bowl, beat softened butter and both sugars until mixture turns smooth and creamy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well between each and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
5. Add amaretto and almond extract.
6. Mix in chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and almonds.
7. Scoop dough onto cookie sheets. It helps to use an ice cream scoop to ensure all cookies are the same size.
8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
