Description

Tis the season for all things pomegranate. This dressing will keep you on track and make you want to eat your greens.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Pomegranate Arils
  • ¼ cups Balsamic Vinegar
  • ¾ Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1 clove Garlic, Finely Minced
  • ½ cups Light Olive Or Canola Oil
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

In a small saucepan, combine arils, vinegar and sugar. Heat over medium low heat and crush the arils with a fork or potato masher. Take off the heat once sugar has dissolved and strain into a small bowl. Whisk in remaining ingredients and refrigerate until ready to use.

Note: If you like sweeter dressings, then increase the sugar to 1 tablespoon.

This sounds (and looks) yummy. Question – Could I substitute honey for the granulated sugar?

Thanks

Delicious! Served it on Christmas. Easy to make, and yummy as can be! (although I did stain my shirt in the process… oops! It was totally worth it though!) I served it over this salad: https://tastykitchen.com/recipes/recipes/salads/pear-pomegranate-christmas-salad/
