A quick and easy recipe with loads of flavor.
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan. Whisk together until well combined. Place over low heat and cook until heated through. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.

I was unable to figure out the rating system form this recipe but….
Very rich, thick and perfect to use in the fall or winter. I thought it a bit heavy, if your looking for a crisp fresh tomato taste. I would give it a 4 stare rating. Easy to make for sure! The recipe makes enough sauce for one pizza only.

I make my own pizza sauce all the time, and Im excited to try this recipe. Is the maple syrup used the same as what you use on pancakes (like Mrs Butterworths), or does it have to be “real” maple syrup?

I made this according to your directions and it turned out great. It would also be easy to adjust for different spices, textures, etc… Thanks for posting it!

I thought this sauce was great. I used honey and a little sugar instead of the maple syrup. Only because we were low on syrup and I was planning on making pancakes the next morning. I’ll probably tweak it next time for a little more heat and basil instead of oregano. I thought the oregano was too strong, but my hubby liked it! Thanks for the recipe!
