This five-ingredient marinara sauce is fail-proof, healthy, and comes together with pantry staples.
Heat olive oil over medium heat in a medium-sized skillet. Add garlic and onion to the skillet with a pinch of salt and sauté until translucent and softened, about 7 minutes.
Add tomatoes, herbs, and spices. Cover and let simmer for 25–30 minutes.
Remove from heat and either serve immediately or blend for a smoother sauce.
