These are delightful and worth the extra effort. They taste just like the waffles from my favorite breakfast joint (a VERY high compliment) and the texture is just great. I’m sure the beaten egg whites are the key. Will definitely make again.
(I added 2 tablespoons of sugar to the dry ingredients. We’re not big syrup eaters, so we like the waffles themselves to be slightly sweet.)

I hate dirtying 3 bowls when I don’t have a dishwasher; but the taste of these waffles more then make up for that!
Very fluffy with a delicious light buttery taste, this one is going in the recipe box!

I started substituting bread flour and I think that makes them even better. Still getting compliments from waffles lovers/haters alike! I always make a double batch and save some for during the week.
