Let’s kick off the fall with this amazing tasting brunch or breakfast recipe.
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, pumpkin puree, and milk.
In a medium skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter on medium high. Dip each piece of bread into the pumpkin mixture. Press down so that the bread soaks up as much batter as possible.
Place bread (3 slices at a time) onto the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side until brown. Melt ½ tablespoon butter for each side you cook.
Top with maple syrup, powdered sugar and optional whipped cream. Serve immediately.
