Add an autumn flair to your breakfast with this wonderful pumpkin spice French toast!
In a small bowl, lightly beat the eggs. Add the milk, and beat until combined. Add the brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice, then whisk until well mixed.
Pour the egg mixture into a pie plate for easy dipping.
Heat the butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter is melted and the skillet is hot, bring the temp down to medium heat.
Dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture, making sure they are thoroughly coated. Place the bread slices in the hot skillet in a single layer and fry until browned on each side (approximately 3-4 minutes per side). Remove bread to a plate. Sprinkle some icing sugar on top and serve with maple syrup!
