Eggnog French Toast is the perfect breakfast for any holiday morning. All the great flavors of eggnog in a delicious breakfast.
Heat griddle or large skillet over medium heat.
In a large bowl, beat eggnog, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Slice French bread into 1-inch-thick slices. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture to coat both sides.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter over the surface of the griddle. Place dipped pieces of bread on the hot griddle. Cook 2–3 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining bread.
Serve immediately topped with maple syrup and whipped cream if desired.
