Thick French standard of a berry-filled custard-like oven pancake served in wedges.
Preheat the oven to 375 F. In a blender or food processor, combine the milk, heavy cream, sugar, flour, eggs, egg yolk and vanilla and blend until smooth. Arrange the berries in a buttered 10-inch pie plate and pour the batter over them. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the flan is puffed and golden. Sift confectioners’ sugar over the top and serve warm. Serves 4 to 6.
