All you need to know is that BAILEY’S is the key ingredient …
Note: the amounts of Bailey’s and milk listed are approximate. It really all depends on your taste, but these are general guidelines.
1. Cook the oats according to the directions on the box:
-Boil the water first
-Add oats and cook at low boil, usually about 4-5 minutes
-When most of the water has cooked off, add cream/milk
2. About a minute before you’re ready to eat it, add the desired amount of Bailey’s to the oatmeal.
3. Add optional ingredients (that make it taste so good):
-blueberries
-walnuts
-a little Splenda/sugar
I ate this for breakfast nearly everyday on a trip through Ireland. So simple, but I never would have thought of it.
