This is a cute breakfast for kids. We were out of milk this morning, so this recipe saved the day.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Use the soft butter to butter each piece of toast. Place toast on a lined cookie sheet. Toast the five slices of bread until your desired level of brown.
3. In a mixing bowl on high speed, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Place a large mound of egg white on each piece of toast. Using the back of a wet spoon, make a well in the center of each egg white mound. Using a medium size spoon, place an egg yolk into each well. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F for twenty five minutes.
Tips – Next time I make these I am going to try them on garlic toast.
