A creamy, tasty and easy pudding that’s mixed with yogurt to make it healthy enough to put on toast for breakfast!
1. In a saucepan, combine first three ingredients. It is probably wise to sift in the cocoa powder as it is usually clumpy and will yield lumpy pudding if you don’t.
2. Add a little bit of the milk and stir with a whisk so that it makes a smooth paste (this is again to prevent lumps).
3. Stir in the rest of the milk and turn the stove on medium-low.
4. As the mixture warms up, it will start to thicken. Once it starts to bubble, turn to low and constantly whisk or stir to prevent burning.
5. When the pudding is thick and at your desired consistency, take off of the heat (it will thicken a bit more after chilling).
6. Stir in salt and vanilla extract.
7. Put mixture in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap and allow to chill in the fridge.
8. After it is chilled, or just before eating, stir in yogurt and serve.
