The perfect accompaniment for soup, chilie and chowder!
Preheat oven to 375 F. Put the butter in a large baking sheet with sides. Place the baking sheet in the oven until butter is melted. Remove it from the oven and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, stir the dry ingredients (flour through salt) together. Stir in the cheese. Add the milk and stir until the dough comes together. Scrape it out onto a floured work surface and shape into a ball. Roll it out into the shape of a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into bars. Dip both sides in the butter. Arrange all the pieces on the pan with a little space between. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Hi TK Nanci,
Could I just leave this recipe as is for my own personal use?

Sounds great! We need your help before we post this…
We ask that all ingredients required to complete a recipe be placed in the Ingredients section, and not in the Instructions area. That way, folks have their list together all in one place. But more importantly, that way our system can ‘do it’s thang’ and if someone wants to modify the serving size for the recipe, the system can calculate the revised ingredient list for them. I’ve added some headings within the Ingredients section (you can do this in the future – just use ALL CAPS in the description space of the ingredient line and leave the other two blanks empty). Would you go in and add your STUFFING FOR CASSEROLE TOPPING ingredients list into that area, and then remove it from the Instructions section?
Also, I was wondering if there are separate instructions for making an entire pan of stuffing (like for Thanksgiving dinner)? If so, would you add those ingredients into the list under that heading, and also provide cooking instructions (pan size, heat level, cook time, etc)? I guess as a casserole topping, folks would just bake to the specifications of their casserole recipe (whatever that cook time, temp, etc are?)
We appreciate your help! When done, click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’ and we’ll get this posted.
Thanks,
TKNanci
