This tangy melt in your mouth sensation will be a huge hit with your friends and family. It makes incredible sandwiches and would be awesome with Ree’s Onion Strings!
Quarter the red bell pepper and onion and place on the bottom of the crock pot. Rinse and trim chuck roast then place into the crock pot on top of the veggies. Pour the liquid smoke onto the roast and rub in.
For the sauce, combine the remaining ingredients minus the soda and rolls and pour over the roast. Make sure to lift the roast and get the sauce under the roast as well.
Pour Jones’ FuFu Berry Soda around sides of the roast, place the lid onto the crock pot and cook 8 hours on low.
Before serving, drain the juices and set aside. Using forks, shred the beef. Serve on kaiser rolls, drizzling the reserved sauce over the beef.
