This is a burger famous in VA.
Heat up grill or a griddle on the stove.
Mix hamburger and Montreal steak seasoning. Pat out patties and place on the hot grill. Cook until desired doneness.
While burgers are going, hard fry the eggs–yolks should not be runny, unless you prefer them this way.
30 seconds to 1 minute before burgers are ready, top patties with cheese until melted. Toast buns. Remove from the grill, top with an egg and place on buns. Top with sauce and enjoy. I keep a bottle of Tabasco sauce on hand for extra heat.
