These were a big hit with everyone in my family (even my mom who hates brownies). I did find though that the batter was dry so I kept adding a teaspoon of water until the mixture was the right consistency. I also loved that I didn’t have to clean a pan like I usually when I make brownies in a regular 9 x 13 pan. Overall, this recipe is a keeper.

Excellent cookies. Especially good for those who like the chewy edges of the brownies best. Took them to work, and the whole batch was gone in about 30 minutes.

I just made these and they didn’t turn out at all. I guess the brownie mix didn’t agree with being made into cookies. The outsides were hard and the bottoms were gooey and didn’t come off the tray (even being greased) so they just fell apart. Not the fault of the recipe, just my experience.

Also works with a chocolate cake mix.

My family and I loved this recipe. So fast and simple! I also added a capful of vanilla extract to the mix after mixing everything together for better taste − but just a personal preference. Everything was really yummy and gooey, just the perfect treat for when you are craving brownies. I also highly recommend for you to use parchment paper because it works better than greasing the pan, and your batter does not stick to the pan.

Just took them out of the in oven. My only modifications were – I always, always use parchment paper, I added 1 capful of vanilla extract and 1 capful of almond extract, and dusted with confectioners sugar. I also deleted the chocolate pieces because I used the Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate mix.
But into a warm one – delicious and a bit gooey from the chocolate pieces. I think they will be perfect once they cool.

Although this did taste exactly like a brownie I had a really hard time with them sticking to the pan even after I had greased it very liberlly. Also on my second batcht the dough must have gotten too warm because they spread very bad.

YUM! These are perfect for your chocolate craving. And ridiculously easy! I added a little chocolate syrup in the “dough” for a more fudge taste, just a personal preference. Very delish!
