Whatever shall you do with all those school fundraiser candy bars? Make cookies! It’s the only sensible course of action.
Pre-heat your oven to 375.
Put your bandcandy bars in the freezer for at least 15 minutes – or longer if they’re caramel-filled. This will make them easier to cut into chunks for your cookies.
With a large knife, cut up the semi-frozen candy bars into whatever size chunks you like.
Mix together the first five ingredients: brown sugar, white sugar, butter, vanilla, and egg. Mix until fluffy and wonderful.
In a separate bowl, mix the next three ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt.
Add the flour mixture to the butter/sugar mixture. Mix until well blended and lookin’ like cookie dough. Add the candy pieces. Mix until well blended.
Drop rounded spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a cookie sheet, spaced about two inches apart. Bake 9-12 minutes.
Remove from oven, Devour. Enjoy!

I love the idea! Great timing too… we just finished a candy bar fundraiser at school! Fortunately, we didn’t have any leftover at our house.

Great idea!
We make “chopped bunny cookies” after easter (I know, so morbid and appalling, but the kids think it’s hilarious-perhaps even more disturbing)
