These easy cake mix cookies taste just like frosted birthday cake—so easy and yummy!
Mix cherry chip cake mix, baking powder, oil, and eggs until combined. Using a cookie scoop, place cookie dough balls evenly on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Once cookies have cooled, sandwich buttercream frosting in between two cookies for a cookie sandwich.

Tried these last night, I dont know what happend, but they didnt quite turn out my cookies were quite a bit puffier than the ones in your pic. Didnt taste like cake either…
Maybe High Altitude has something to do with it…

Definitely a kids’ cookie! I made these for a five-year old’s birthday party and they were a big hit with the kids, but the adults found them to be waaaaay too sweet.

Great, and simple recipe! I used Pillsbury strawberry instead, with white buttercream frosting for valentine’s day! Super cute!

I made these and they were great! I loved the texture of the cookie and the butter cream was a great addition. I wasn’t a huge fan of the cherry chip, so I might try a regular vanilla mix next time, but they turned out excellent!
