This is the perfect Thanksgiving side dish. Creamy and buttery mashed potatoes.
In a pot add potatoes, and cover with cold water. Add salt and bring to a boil over medium-high heat until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream, butter, thyme, garlic cloves, salt, and pepper.
In a bowl, add potatoes and garlic cloves. Mash and add the heavy cream mixture. Mix using a spoon.
