Impress your friends and family by making your own Sirloin Burger. This hamburger recipe can make your next bbq, cookout, or grill outing a special one.
Preheat grill to 500ºF.
While preheating, sprinkle small amount of salt and pepper on ground beef. Form two patties. Use thumb and place a shallow divot in each burger.
Once preheated, place burger on grates, divot side down. Grill for 5 minutes, undisturbed. Flip once. Grill another 5 minutes, undisturbed.
Check the temperature on burger for appropriate doneness. The USDA says 160ºF (well done), but I took mine off at 150ºF.
Grill for 1 additional minute with cheese on top. Remove and place onto bun. Serve.
