Healthy oatmeal using farro instead of oats and topped with cinnamon spiced apples.
Cook farro according to package directions.
Place apples in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat. Continue to cook, stirring often, until apples soften and brown. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and maple syrup. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Place farro into 2 serving bowls, top with apple mixture, and add a little almond milk, if desired. Enjoy!
