Yummy tender beef in a creamy sauce with mushrooms.
Put stew meat, au jus mix and water into slow cooker.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours.
Add soups, sour cream and mushrooms.
Turn to high for 15 minutes until heated through.
Serve over rice or noodles.
Note: I usually double or triple this recipe, cook it, then freeze the other portions.
Also, Costco stew meat is what I usually use. They are a bit more expensive, but I have always been thrilled with the way the meat melts in your mouth.
No matter where you buy your meat you will need to cut some of the pieces down so they are more uniform. Or use a roast or steak and cut it down yourself.

Made this tonight and it was a hit! Easy and convenient, we omitted the mushrooms.
We will make this again!
